I was fortunate to spend a day at Rancho La Puerta, Tecate, Mexico, on Sunday. Here’s a glimpse of my day in pictures shot with my Samsung NX300 camera and 30mm pancake lens.

The grounds are so beautiful. I’m glad I spent some time wandering with my camera.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Relax.

One of many sculptures that caught my eye.

Because of the drought, I am always looking for desert-scape ideas. This garden is striking, isn’t it?

How I felt after the active stretch class.

Into the dining room

It’s lunch time! Salad fresh from the garden, with wild mushroom quesadilla. So good.

Which way to the pool? These helpful signs are everywhere. Otherwise, I’d still be lost.

The calm before the storm at the Activity Pool. I survived Chris’ deep-end Hydro-Fit without drowning.

It’s the end of the day, and these beauties remind me it’s the perfect time for a glass of wine!
Beautiful! I need to start planning a trip there!
Yup! I’m thinking about going back too!
