After returning from Italy this summer, I began dreaming about making cappuccinos and lattes at home. The price at Starbucks is really rather ridiculous. And besides, they don’t deliver!
So I read all the espresso machine reviews at Amazon, and decided on the DeLonghi EC155 based on a combination of its low-price and good reviews. I have since become the cappuccino queen, and two family members now have the exact same machine after enjoying it at my house.
This machine can use either fresh grounds or an ESE pod. I started out using freshly ground Peets, but decided to try the pods just to see what they were like. Now I’m a pod addict, and not going back anytime soon. The pods I buy are the Lavazza Gran Crema Espresso in the 150 pack box. I get a 15% discount by buying them with Amazon’s “Subscribe and Save” … which brings the cost per cup down to THIRTY ONE cents. Eat your heart out Starbucks!
(Don’t know what “Subscribe & Save” is? Only the best thing since sliced bread or homemade cappuccino! Click here for all the deets.)

You did a great DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker info. I will check out this one also since it has a good review.
